Open Positions
Fall, 2024
The group currently has two Ph.D. positions and one Postdoctoral position available, starting in Fall 2024. Undergraduate or MS students with a background in electrical engineering, physics, and materials science are welcome to contact Prof. Li for further information.
The group also welcomes volunteer graduate and undergraduate students with a passion for exploring next-generation nanomaterials and nanoelectronics.

Our NSF ECCS EPMD award entitled "Vertical-carrier-transport two-dimensional photo-harvesting devices with nanocavity enhancement" kicks off. This EAGER program will perform a combined fundamental and experimental investigation to validate this scientific hypothesis, which will pave the way towards the development of practically high-efficiency two-dimensional photo-harvesting devices.

Dr. Huamin Li joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, University at Buffalo as an Assistant Professor from January 2017. He leads the Emerging Nanoelectronics Research Group with the focus on low-dimensional materials and their nanoelectronic applications.
